Hello fellow members.
I am here in USA on F1 visa from last 3 yrs. I have never worked over here, so filled only 8843 form every year with zero income. But from this year 2009 i have started trading here in stocks and options utilizing funds from homecountry. In which I suffered losses of $ 941 . Kindly please anybody tell me, do i have to pay taxes? if yes, do I have to do 8843 also? Thank you

On F-1 you are nonresident for 5-years. You must file your tax return only if your income is more than $3,650 in 2009. Since your income is less than $3,650, you do not need to file tax return. File Form 8843.
